Graduation Time

I went and mailed my Father's Day card to, who else, my dad, yesterday. When I asked if it was over weight she said no, but a 5.5 x 5.5 card is considered a flat and not a letter.. so.... it was .88 instead of .44. So, needless to say, I won't be sending square cards very often. Instead, I decided I really liked the rectangular card. Of course it won't be the norm as it's just an odd size for a card. But for a special occasion, one where you want to include some money, a check, or even a gift card.

Here is the graduation card I made yesterday. I struggled with it because I'm just not a natural born designer like some are. But I think this one turned out nice. I even included a little envelope in it to include a gift card.

For this card I used the Happy Graduation Cricut cartridge. I don't especially like this cartridge, because it's very, very limited. No alphabet and very basic layering options. I found a nice little poem on the internet and just printed it off on my HP photosmart printer.
