My husband took the girls to school today, and seeing as they only had 1/2 a day, he did some calling (that is what he calls it when he gets to go to Hy-vee and eat breakfast and drink coffee w/ some people he meets there once or twice a week) and then went and picked them up for me! I loved it because I just really don't like getting out in the cold. Though 21* is much more pleasant than 7*.
Well, I made a big slow cooker full of meatballs last night for the girls Christmas party at school today. I started them at 11:00 pm. My mother about croaked when I told her I was starting to make meatballs. She said "hopefully not right now you are starting them". I assured her I was and I was opening the package right then! :)
