Thursday was Anna's 9th birthday and Friday we had a small party for her. We invited the neighborhood children. Due to the fact that my girls just love Webkinz we had a Webkinz party. We had to get a little creative, and we had to get the baker to find their creative side as well. They did a wonderful job.
My creative side had to kick in when I had to come up with a version of the "Wheel Of Wow!" I guess you wouldn't really appreciate any of this unless you've been to Webkinz and played the "Wheel Of Wow!" At any rate, I took my cake plate that is on a turn table, cut out pie pieces of construction paper, then took pictures of the prizes, printed them and taped them on the wheel. It turned out pretty good!
We also made a punch that is in the Webkinz world. You add one part orange juice, one part lemonade, and two parts ginger ale (I prefer 7up, it tastes better).
We had a good turn out , but I was ready for everyone to leave! Good thing I can just tell everyone to go home, seeing as they just live next door!
