Old Threshers Parade

Yesterday was the beginning for Old Threshers, so I am told. And here in Mt. Pleasant, well, from all around, it is a very big deal. The parade yesterday had so many tractors. I didn't think there there could be so many tractors in one place at one time. I tried to get a good picture of the long road of tractors, but the picture didn't do it justice. We watched tractors go by for proabably a good 35 min... and the parade lasted 50. We had a good time anyhow. This is our first year and the children are very excited about it.

These horses were absolutely beautiful... they pranced instead of just trotting ...

It is nice, in a sense, that we have moved to different parts of the country and seen so many different cultures. But, I believe we are ready to stay forever! ;)

Yes, that parade sounded so nice. Sister Dodd had told me about it. Did you see Kith and Jeff and Karen and Kammie there? I am sure they were there. I love those kind of things. Sounds absolutely wonderful. Thanks for your comments on my blog. I don't think you spend to much time on your blog, it helps people to keep in touch with what is going on with you. Plus it was a big help to me. You are very good with words. I am not. I am glad you are my friend too, even if we can't talk a lot or see each other much. But that is what the blog is for and facebook right? lol Well talk to you later.
