The Table

When you look at this picture what do you see? A table, plates, glasses, food. When I look at this picture I see:
Time spent with family making memories, laughter, tears, togetherness, stories, lessons, and love. This table we have had since 2002, though small, it has seen us gather at it as a family approximately 4500 times, give or take a few. The memories shared at this table are countless and forever unforgetable. May God bless us with many more.

Thanksgiving day saw us just spending time together as a family. It was a very relaxing day.

Friday evening we went to Sears for retakes. They turned out fairly nice. I just have to keep remeinding myself: "this is Sears". So, I told my husband that I was going to save my $$ for next year and take us to a professional photographer. My husband said I could just buy myself a really nice camera, take our own pictures and spend about the same amount of money. We'll see.
I'll post the new photographs as soon as I can.

Have a great weekend.. TTFN - Amanda

This is a neat post. One of our tables--not the one where we ate Thanksgiving dinner though--belonged to David's grandparents. We believe that it is almost 80 years old. David's mom and each of her sibling had their first bath on that table. It is special to us! We've often thought, "if only the table could talk!" :)

We spent Thanksgiving here in GA this year and although we missed the larger family, we too, had a great day!

Have a wonderful evening.

That is great that you had a wonderful Thanksgiving Day as family. That is what matters. I can't wait to see the new pictures. Also thanks for the Thanksgiving wishes. I had a very nice one this year. Have so much to be thankful for.
